Manganese Metal Flakes
Also known as Electrolytic Manganese Metal flakes, is pure Manganese with Mn content between 99.7%-99.9%. It is mainly used as an additive in the manufacturing of Steel. Apart from flakes, Manganese metal also comes in the form of Powder, briquettes & lumps. Manganese Metal Flakes is primarily produced in China & South Africa.
Different varieties of Manganese Metal Flakes, namely Low Hydrogen or Low Oxygen or Low Selenium containing Manganese Metal Flakes can be supplied to customer requirements.
Application
Added to improve mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of aluminium alloys 3000-series, especially those used in the production of beverage can sheet alloys. Mn also acts as a deoxidizer or desulphuriser in the production of Steel. It is also used in the production of flux mixtures for welding rods.
